No matter your age or retirement goals, adding an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to your portfolio could be a smart choice. Align offers fixed-rate certificate of deposit accounts or variable rate accounts. To open an IRA, visit one of our branches.

Traditional IRA

With a traditional IRA, you may be able to deduct your annual contributions on your federal income tax return. Your earnings are also 100% free from federal income tax until you decide it's time to withdraw them from your account.

Roth IRA

Choose a Roth IRA and your contributions are not tax deductible now. But, if you follow certain rules, your earnings will be tax-free when you withdraw them.

Rollover IRA

Have a 401(k) from a previous employer? Roll it into an IRA and keep your savings tax-deferred.

Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) Plans

Are you self-employed? Are you part of a sole proprietorship, partnership or small business? SEP Plans are a great way for small employee groups and companies to offer a retirement plan. If you don't have access to a pension, 401(k) or an employee-sponsored retirement program, you may be eligible. In this type of plan, an employer makes contributions to Traditional Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) for each eligible employee.
